Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Bonhams in New York held the auction Stonewall@50 Photographs Online, which included the work I Dreamed I Was Fit To Be Tied In My Calvins by Arthur Tress. The price achieved of USD 1,020.00 (€ 916.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Arthur Tress have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Presidential Cabinet (Portfolio) in November this year with an auction result of USD 5,120.00 (€ 4,693.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2019 führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion Stonewall@50 Photographs Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit I Dreamed I Was Fit To Be Tied In My Calvins von Arthur Tress zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.020,00 (€ 916,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arthur Tress auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Presidential Cabinet (Portfolio) im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.120,00 (€ 4.693,80).
