Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Harvest Song, Adirondack Park, NY by Arthur Tress for USD 382.50 (€ 317.96). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Bonhams in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Tress achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Presidential Cabinet (Portfolio) in November this year with an auction result of USD 5,120.00 (€ 4,693.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Harvest Song, Adirondack Park, NY von Arthur Tress für USD 382,50 (€ 317,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Bonhams in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arthur Tress erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Presidential Cabinet (Portfolio) im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.120,00 (€ 4.693,80).
