In the Photographs Including Crossing America: Photographs from The Consolidated Freightways Collection, Part II auction, the work Sharecropper's Daughter, Arkansas, 1935 sold for USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,854.16) - well above the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Arthur Rothstein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Farmer and sons walking in the face of a dust storm, Cimarron County, Oklahoma in April 2001 with an auction result of USD 23,500.00 (€ 26,481.86).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arthur Rothstein auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Farmer and sons walking in the face of a dust storm, Cimarron County, Oklahoma im April 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 23.500,00 (€ 26.481,86).
