Upper estimate price exceeded by 25 %.
The work Gypsies by Arthur Hughes was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2015. It achieved a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 10,369.15), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arthur Hughes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Birthday Picnic - Portraits of the children of William and Anne Pattinson of Felling, near Gateshead in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 380,650.00 (€ 555,736.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 10.369,15) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%.
