However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arnout Colnot - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Path through a mountainous landscape, which sold at auction in May 2002 for EUR 8,962.50.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.375,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Arnout Colnot mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Path through a mountainous landscape beobachtet, die im Mai 2002 für EUR 8.962,50 versteigert wurde.
