Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A still life with flowers and fruits by Arnout Colnot was sold in the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2006. It achieved a price of EUR 1,800.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20 %. Admittedly, works by Arnout Colnot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Path through a mountainous landscape in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 8,962.50.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A still life with flowers and fruits von Arnout Colnot wurde im Januar 2006 in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 1.800,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arnout Colnot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Path through a mountainous landscape im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.962,50.
