Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2016 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Modern Art, which included the work A still life with lilies, a pumpkin, grapes and pears by Arnout Colnot. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 2,125.00. Admittedly, works by Arnout Colnot have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Path through a mountainous landscape in May 2002 with an auction result of EUR 8,962.50.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2016 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A still life with lilies, a pumpkin, grapes and pears von Arnout Colnot zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 2.125,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arnout Colnot auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Path through a mountainous landscape im Mai 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.962,50.
