Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Selected Images, 1969-1986 by Arnold Odermatt for USD 1,920.00 (€ 1,520.91). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arnold Odermatt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selected Images Of Car Accidents in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 32,467.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Selected Images, 1969-1986 von Arnold Odermatt für USD 1.920,00 (€ 1.520,91) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arnold Odermatt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selected Images Of Car Accidents im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 32.467,53).
