Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2018 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018, which included the work Buochs (from Karambolage) by Arnold Odermatt. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,388.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arnold Odermatt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selected Images Of Car Accidents in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 32,467.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2018 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Phillips x Artsy: Summer School 2018 durch, in der auch die Arbeit Buochs (from Karambolage) von Arnold Odermatt zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.625,00 (€ 1.388,18) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arnold Odermatt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selected Images Of Car Accidents im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 32.467,53).
