In March 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction TO LIVE WITH ART: Property from the Jerome & Ellen Stern Collection, which included the work Selected Images Of Car Accidents by Arnold Odermatt. The »bidding war« ended at USD 40,000.00 (€ 32,467.53), 33% above the upper estimate. With this result, Selected Images Of Car Accidents is even the most expensive work of art by Arnold Odermatt that we have observed at auctions so far.
