Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Bouchs, 1972 by Arnold Odermatt for GBP 750.00 (€ 1,049.06). This price was achieved in the auction A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arnold Odermatt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selected Images Of Car Accidents in March 2018 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 32,467.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bouchs, 1972 von Arnold Odermatt für GBP 750,00 (€ 1.049,06) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion A Visual Odyssey Selections from LAC (Lambert Art Collection) Staged by Jacques Grange bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arnold Odermatt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selected Images Of Car Accidents im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 32.467,53).
