Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paysage (Brouillard) by Arnold Lakhovsky was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2012. The price achieved of USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,340.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arnold Lakhovsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View of Vasilievsky Island with the Church of the Annunciation in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 110,880.00 (€ 123,862.84).
