Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Venetian Canal Scene by Arnold Lakhovsky was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in June 2015. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 15,862.36) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Arnold Lakhovsky have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work View of Vasilievsky Island with the Church of the Annunciation in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 110,880.00 (€ 123,862.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Venetian Canal Scene von Arnold Lakhovsky wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 15.862,36) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arnold Lakhovsky auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit View of Vasilievsky Island with the Church of the Annunciation im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 110.880,00 (€ 123.862,84).
