Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Arnold Lakhovsky achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2015. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work Winter In Central Park sold for GBP 32,500.00 (€ 45,824.59) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arnold Lakhovsky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View of Vasilievsky Island with the Church of the Annunciation, which sold at auction in December 2020 for GBP 110,880.00 (€ 123,862.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arnold Lakhovsky erzielte im Juni 2015 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit Winter In Central Park für GBP 32.500,00 (€ 45.824,59) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 15.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Arnold Lakhovsky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit View of Vasilievsky Island with the Church of the Annunciation beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für GBP 110.880,00 (€ 123.862,84) versteigert wurde.
