A top price for Arnold Lakhovsky
In December 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work View of Vasilievsky Island with the Church of the Annunciation by Arnold Lakhovsky. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 110,880.00 (€ 123,862.84), 39% above the upper estimate. With this result, View of Vasilievsky Island with the Church of the Annunciation is even the most expensive work of art by Arnold Lakhovsky that we have observed at auctions so far.
