Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Arnaldo Roche Rabell could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin America: Modern Art auction, the work The Hug changed hands for USD 28,750.00 (€ 27,220.22) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Arnaldo Roche Rabell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Pursuit of Happiness in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 197,000.00 (€ 144,789.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Arnaldo Roche Rabell konnte im November 2015 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Latin America: Modern Art wechselte die Arbeit The Hug für USD 28.750,00 (€ 27.220,22) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Arnaldo Roche Rabell auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Pursuit of Happiness im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 197.000,00 (€ 144.789,06).
