Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September this year Phillips in New York held the auction New Now, which included the work La macchina (Egisto), studio by Arnaldo Pomodoro. The »bidding war« ended at USD 35,560.00 (€ 33,597.88), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arnaldo Pomodoro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Giroscopio IV in October 2015 with an auction result of GBP 674,500.00 (€ 943,457.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion New Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit La macchina (Egisto), studio von Arnaldo Pomodoro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 35.560,00 (€ 33.597,88) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arnaldo Pomodoro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Giroscopio IV im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 674.500,00 (€ 943.457,03).
