Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait of a lady, small bust-length, in a blue dress with a yellow border by Ary de Vois for USD 11,750.00 (€ 13,672.33). This price was achieved in the auction Important Old Master Paintings at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ary de Vois achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of An Ensign Of The Leiden Civic Guard, Three-Quarter-Length, With Militiamen In The Background in June last year with an auction result of USD 352,800.00 (€ 336,994.94).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait of a lady, small bust-length, in a blue dress with a yellow border von Ary de Vois für USD 11.750,00 (€ 13.672,33) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Old Master Paintings bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ary de Vois erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of An Ensign Of The Leiden Civic Guard, Three-Quarter-Length, With Militiamen In The Background im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 352.800,00 (€ 336.994,94).
