A top price for Archibald Bertram Webb - as previously expected
The work The Hills by Archibald Bertram Webb was sold in the Australian Art auction at Christies in London in September 2015. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 6,432.63) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Hills is the most expensive artwork by Archibald Bertram Webb that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit The Hills von Archibald Bertram Webb wurde im September 2015 in der Auktion Australian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 6.432,63) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist The Hills das teuerste Kunstwerk von Archibald Bertram Webb, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
