This work without title by Anya Gallaccio was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2008. The auction ended at the price of EUR 3,500.00, which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anya Gallaccio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Red Door With Handle, which sold at auction in February 2015 for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 10,341.39).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Anya Gallaccio kam im Juni 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 3.500,00 entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Anya Gallaccio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Red Door With Handle beobachtet, die im Februar 2015 für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 10.341,39) versteigert wurde.
