Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Anya Gallaccio could be acquired at Phillips in London in April 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the New Now auction, the work Light a candle changed hands for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,135.43) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anya Gallaccio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Red Door With Handle in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 10,341.39).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Anya Gallaccio konnte im April 2018 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion New Now wechselte die Arbeit Light a candle für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.135,43) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anya Gallaccio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Red Door With Handle im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 10.341,39).
