In May 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale Evening Session, which included the work De la naturaleza by Antonio Henrique Amaral. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 12,050.13) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Antonio Henrique Amaral have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work Banana no prato was auctioned for USD 34,600.00 (€ 23,556.64).
