In November 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included this untitled work by Antonio Henrique Amaral. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,024.55) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio Henrique Amaral - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Banana no prato, which sold at auction in November 2007 for USD 34,600.00 (€ 23,556.64).

Im November 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Antonio Henrique Amaral zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.024,55) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Antonio Henrique Amaral mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Banana no prato beobachtet, die im November 2007 für USD 34.600,00 (€ 23.556,64) versteigert wurde.
