A top price for Antonio Gattorno - as previously expected
In June 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale, which included the work Waiting for the Coffee Fragment of Bacardi Mural by Antonio Gattorno. The price achieved of USD 120,000.00 (€ 88,757.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Waiting for the Coffee Fragment of Bacardi Mural is the most expensive artwork by Antonio Gattorno that we have observed at auctions so far.
