However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Antonio de Simone - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Royal Thames Yacht Club schooner Marchesa: In Neapolitan waters (illustrated); and In heavy weather, which sold at auction in May 2004 for GBP 4,780.00 (€ 7,171.76).
