This artwork by Antonio Berni achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May 2018. In the Latin American Art Online auction, the work La comunión de Ramona sold for USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,962.30) - well above the upper estimate of USD 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Berni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Los Emigrantes in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 755,000.00 (€ 554,902.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Antonio Berni erzielte im Mai 2018 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Art Online wurde die Arbeit La comunión de Ramona für USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.962,30) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Berni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Los Emigrantes im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 755.000,00 (€ 554.902,25).
