In November 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work El conde, amigo de Ramona by Antonio Berni. The »bidding war« ended at USD 56,250.00 (€ 49,677.65), 41% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Antonio Berni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Los Emigrantes in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 755,000.00 (€ 554,902.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 41 % übertroffen
Im November 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit El conde, amigo de Ramona von Antonio Berni zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 49.677,65) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Antonio Berni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Los Emigrantes im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 755.000,00 (€ 554.902,25).
