In May 2016 VAN HAM held the auction Alte Kunst, which included the work Kalb im Stall by Anton Mauve. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,419.00 42% above the estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anton Mauve achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A tranquil pasture in October 2000 with an auction result of NLG 128,722.00 (€ 61,782.31).

Im Mai 2016 führte VAN HAM die Auktion Alte Kunst durch, in der auch die Arbeit Kalb im Stall von Anton Mauve zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.419,00 und damit 42% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anton Mauve erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A tranquil pasture im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 128.722,00 (€ 61.782,31).
