Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2007 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work View Of A Canal In A Dutch Town by Antonie Waldorp. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 5,040.00. Admittedly, works by Antonie Waldorp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A royal barge on a choppy river with slot Loevestein in the background in October 2001 with an auction result of EUR 37,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2007 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit View Of A Canal In A Dutch Town von Antonie Waldorp zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 5.040,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Antonie Waldorp auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A royal barge on a choppy river with slot Loevestein in the background im Oktober 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 37.600,00.
