In March 2015 Christies in New York held the auction American Art, which included the work Country Lane, Rockport by Anthony Thieme. The »bidding war« ended at USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,947.77), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Anthony Thieme have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Evening Light on the Suwannee River in September 2005 with an auction result of USD 144,000.00 (€ 119,422.79).

Im März 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Country Lane, Rockport von Anthony Thieme zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.947,77) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anthony Thieme auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Evening Light on the Suwannee River im September 2005 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 144.000,00 (€ 119.422,79).
