Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Morning Sleep from Kidnap by Anthony Goicolea for GBP 1,890.00 (€ 2,219.04). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anthony Goicolea achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stigmata in August 2020 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 29,323.06).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Morning Sleep from Kidnap von Anthony Goicolea für GBP 1.890,00 (€ 2.219,04) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anthony Goicolea erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stigmata im August 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 29.323,06).
