In the Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite and British Impressionist Art auction, the work Mary Magdalene sold for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 26,501.35) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anthony Frederick Augustus Sandys achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British love'S Shadow in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 494,500.00 (€ 343,976.07).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Anthony Frederick Augustus Sandys erzielte im Juli 2017 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite and British Impressionist Art wurde die Arbeit Mary Magdalene für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 26.501,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00.
