Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait Of May Gillilan by Anthony Frederick Augustus Sandys was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2019. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 13,750.00 (€ 16,250.89). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anthony Frederick Augustus Sandys achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work British love'S Shadow in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 494,500.00 (€ 343,976.07).
