Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2003 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Women conversing on a bridge, Bruges by Anthonie Pieter Schotel. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 717.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anthonie Pieter Schotel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rush hour on the Place de L'Opéra, Paris in February 2008 with an auction result of EUR 18,250.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2003 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Women conversing on a bridge, Bruges von Anthonie Pieter Schotel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 717,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anthonie Pieter Schotel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rush hour on the Place de L'Opéra, Paris im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.250,00.
