Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 20 Jahre Einsamkeit (20 Years Of Solitude) by Anselm Kiefer was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 180,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 193,250.00 (€ 240,272.48) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anselm Kiefer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Für Velimir Khlebnikov: Die Lehre vom Krieg: Seeschlachten in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 2,389,000.00 (€ 2,867,579.59).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 20 Jahre Einsamkeit (20 Years Of Solitude) von Anselm Kiefer wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 180.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 193.250,00 (€ 240.272,48) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anselm Kiefer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Für Velimir Khlebnikov: Die Lehre vom Krieg: Seeschlachten im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 2.389.000,00 (€ 2.867.579,59).
