Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Figures by Ans Wortel for EUR 382.40. This price was achieved in the auction Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings at Christies in Amsterdam and was even below the estimate range of EUR 400.00 – 600.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ans Wortel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Als een vis zal ik je dragen...., which sold at auction in July 2003 for EUR 1,314.50.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Figures von Ans Wortel für EUR 382,40 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 400,00 – 600,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ans Wortel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Als een vis zal ik je dragen.... beobachtet, die im Juli 2003 für EUR 1.314,50 versteigert wurde.
