In June 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Keith Haring, New York, 1986 by Annie Leibovitz. The result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 26,711.78) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Annie Leibovitz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Keith Haring, New York City, which sold at auction in April 2016 for USD 93,750.00 (€ 81,942.14).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Keith Haring, New York, 1986 von Annie Leibovitz zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 26.711,78) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Annie Leibovitz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Keith Haring, New York City beobachtet, die im April 2016 für USD 93.750,00 (€ 81.942,14) versteigert wurde.
