The work Cindy Sherman, New York City by Annie Leibovitz was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in New York in April last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,190.00 (€ 7,772.61), 37% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Annie Leibovitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Keith Haring, New York City in April 2016 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 81,942.14).

Die Arbeit Cindy Sherman, New York City von Annie Leibovitz wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.190,00 (€ 7.772,61) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Annie Leibovitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Keith Haring, New York City im April 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 81.942,14).
