Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Anne E. Christopherson could be acquired at Christies in London in May 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors - Oak Edition auction, the work Tree and rocky path; and In the mesh changed hands for GBP 250.00 (€ 318.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Anne E. Christopherson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roofs and holly trees, The Point, Greenwich; Woodbridge town hall; and Rooftops, Hyde Vale in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,544.09).
