Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Courtyard; Sheila's room at the pargon; Still life with model galleon, bottle and glass; My kitchen table; Lilies in a glass vase; Flowers in a bowl; and Brown jug with lilies by Anne E. Christopherson was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2008. The price achieved of GBP 500.00 (€ 636.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Anne E. Christopherson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Roofs and holly trees, The Point, Greenwich; Woodbridge town hall; and Rooftops, Hyde Vale in May 2008 with an auction result of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,544.09).
