The work As the Serpent by Anna Gaskell was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March 2008. It achieved a price of USD 16,250.00 (€ 10,281.56), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anna Gaskell - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled #5 (Wonder Series), which sold at auction in May 2003 for USD 33,460.00 (€ 28,437.87).

Die Arbeit As the Serpent von Anna Gaskell kam im März 2008 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 10.281,56) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Für andere Arbeiten von Anna Gaskell mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled #5 (Wonder Series) beobachtet, die im Mai 2003 für USD 33.460,00 (€ 28.437,87) versteigert wurde.
