Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Anna Finney was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 11,000.00 (€ 1,073.00). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anna Finney - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "On the sofa II / På soffan II", which sold at auction in May 2011 for SEK 24,000.00 (€ 2,701.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Anna Finney im November 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 11.000,00 (€ 1.073,00) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Anna Finney mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "On the sofa II / På soffan II" beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für SEK 24.000,00 (€ 2.701,17) versteigert wurde.
