Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Ann Veronica Janssens was auctioned at Phillips in London in June 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,950.10) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Ann Veronica Janssens have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Stella in April 2019 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,082.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ann Veronica Janssens kam im Juni 2008 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.950,10) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ann Veronica Janssens auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Stella im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.082,22).
