Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Ann Edholm was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2011, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 6,800.00 (€ 748.09). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ann Edholm achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "At The Back Of Silence I" in May 2016 with an auction result of SEK 200,000.00 (€ 21,535.70).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Ann Edholm im November 2011 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 6.800,00 (€ 748,09) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ann Edholm erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "At The Back Of Silence I" im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 200.000,00 (€ 21.535,70).
