Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Women at the Market by Anita Magsaysay-Ho was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 101,133.81) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 800,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anita Magsaysay-Ho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work NAG-IIPON NG DAYAMI (GLEANERS) in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 13,860,000.00 (€ 1,688,933.64).

Die Arbeit Women at the Market von Anita Magsaysay-Ho wurde im Mai 2016 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 101.133,81) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 800.000,00 – 1.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anita Magsaysay-Ho erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit NAG-IIPON NG DAYAMI (GLEANERS) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 13.860.000,00 (€ 1.688.933,64).
