Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work Washing Of The Feet by Anita Magsaysay-Ho for HKD 4,375,000.00 (€ 479,340.07). This price was achieved in the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Evening Sale at Sothebys in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 4,500,000.00 – 6,500,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anita Magsaysay-Ho - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work NAG-IIPON NG DAYAMI (GLEANERS), which sold at auction in November 2016 for HKD 13,860,000.00 (€ 1,688,933.64).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Washing Of The Feet von Anita Magsaysay-Ho für HKD 4.375.000,00 (€ 479.340,07) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Art Evening Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 4.500.000,00 – 6.500.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Anita Magsaysay-Ho mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit NAG-IIPON NG DAYAMI (GLEANERS) beobachtet, die im November 2016 für HKD 13.860.000,00 (€ 1.688.933,64) versteigert wurde.
