This artwork by Anita Magsaysay-Ho achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. In the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction, the work CAROLING sold for HKD 937,500.00 (€ 107,049.88) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anita Magsaysay-Ho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work NAG-IIPON NG DAYAMI (GLEANERS) in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 13,860,000.00 (€ 1,688,933.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Anita Magsaysay-Ho erzielte im Mai 2017 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit CAROLING für HKD 937.500,00 (€ 107.049,88) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 500.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anita Magsaysay-Ho erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit NAG-IIPON NG DAYAMI (GLEANERS) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 13.860.000,00 (€ 1.688.933,64).
