The work Two Mothers by Anita Magsaysay-Ho was sold in the 20th Century Art Day Sale auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May this year. It achieved a price of HKD 4,788,000.00 (€ 573,894.88), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 71%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anita Magsaysay-Ho - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work NAG-IIPON NG DAYAMI (GLEANERS), which sold at auction in November 2016 for HKD 13,860,000.00 (€ 1,688,933.64).

Die Arbeit Two Mothers von Anita Magsaysay-Ho wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century Art Day Sale bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 4.788.000,00 (€ 573.894,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 71%. Für andere Arbeiten von Anita Magsaysay-Ho mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit NAG-IIPON NG DAYAMI (GLEANERS) beobachtet, die im November 2016 für HKD 13.860.000,00 (€ 1.688.933,64) versteigert wurde.
