The work The Water Carriers by Anita Magsaysay-Ho was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 860,000.00 (€ 76,931.00), 72% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anita Magsaysay-Ho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work NAG-IIPON NG DAYAMI (GLEANERS) in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 13,860,000.00 (€ 1,688,933.64).

Die Arbeit The Water Carriers von Anita Magsaysay-Ho wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 860.000,00 (€ 76.931,00) und damit 72% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anita Magsaysay-Ho erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit NAG-IIPON NG DAYAMI (GLEANERS) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 13.860.000,00 (€ 1.688.933,64).
