In October 2012 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Fruit Seller by Anita Magsaysay-Ho. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 1,160,000.00 (€ 115,480.78), 29% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anita Magsaysay-Ho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work NAG-IIPON NG DAYAMI (GLEANERS) in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 13,860,000.00 (€ 1,688,933.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 29 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2012 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fruit Seller von Anita Magsaysay-Ho zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 1.160.000,00 (€ 115.480,78) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anita Magsaysay-Ho erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit NAG-IIPON NG DAYAMI (GLEANERS) im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 13.860.000,00 (€ 1.688.933,64).
